Montauk Point Light House - Kittycation

Montauk Point is located on the tip of the Long Island, NY. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in New York State. This trip was spontaneous and almost took 2-1/2 hours from our place due to the crazy traffic.  You can stop by several places in between for lovely ocean and scenic views. Once reached, we followed up the stairs from the parking lot. We just walked towards the lighthouse with the view of the ocean which was incredible! Since it was windy that day we skipped climbing the light house, rather we took the path that was to the left. 

The path leads to a rocky beach next to the light house where we can sit back and relax. The rocky beach with the ocean view while sunset is Amazing! The water was so clean that you could dip your feet in. The stones are slippery as you can find the seaweed floating here and there.

I wore this casual white dress from Aeropostale and paired it with open toe ankle flats from DSW. For accessories I kept the look simple with a Gold leaf pendant necklace and for the bag I wore this leather cross body from Rue 21
